The RESPORG process is when we take the number over from the current carrier so we can deliver it to you. It requires a copy of the bill and a signed letter of authority so the process goes smoothly.
If the process doesn’t go smoothly, or we’re in a hurry, we can (with appropriate proof of ownership) perform a NASC, which is a quick migration of the number without the losing carriers permission. Generally this is not required. However, if we end up going back and forth because of documentation or billing problems, a NASC may be the final solution.
