Request DID option allows our vendors to see what is the market requirement for the DID numbers in different parts of the world. This option does not mean that you will get the numbers instantly, it is only used to measure the market sense and encourage the vendors to list their numbers on the DIDX marketplace. You can also use our BACK ORDER option to order numbers that can be made available in 2 to 4 weeks time, as per your order.

You can instantly change the ringto address of your DID number using the web site or the API.

ROUND ROBIN RING TO ADDRESS CHANGE

 

You can define ring to address on the basis of call received. This ring to method will work as Round Robin. By default all the calls will work as traditional ringto style, if you want to use round robin method, go to user profile, under Default Settings, Edit and Select Round Robin Method.

In Round Robin method, you can define upto 10 address for 10 calls at a time.

Suppose, you want, every first call will go “server@server.com”, 2nd call on “server2@server2.com”, this is possible using round robin method.

To define the call number and ring to address, go to my purchased DIDs and click on Round Robin Servers (make sure you have already chosen round robin method from the user profile page ).

When your credit card will be charged to add funds to your account, the system will send you 2 days before it attempts to try to charge your card.

You can use DIDX for publishing Subscriber Information in white and yellow pages, and enum services.

Enum Listing
If you choose to do a Enum Listing of your DID number, Your number will be published in selected ENUM Directories, and then the calls may directly start coming on the SIP network.

White Pages Listing
You can choose to publish your users information in published white pages. This information will then be available by selected listing providers such as call-x.com

INCOMING SMS

 

If you have purchased any DID number which supports incoming SMS, then you can receive SMS on this number. Also you can further forward your SMS via HTTP POST.

These are the variables will be posted to your SMS URL:

“to” = contains DID number where SMS is comming
“from” = Number, SMS sent from
“text” = Text sent in sms
“ident” = Unique ID

You can define URL for the DIDs at once, or you can also define for each DID number. To define URL for a DID number, go to My Purchased DIDs, click on the DID number and there you will find the link to change SMS URL.

If you want to define URL post for all the DIDs, go to User Profile, under “Set Default Settings” and set default SMS URL.

As of October 13, 2010, some UK DID have incoming SMS available. Others will follow soon as your DIDX Care Team is working through interop and interconnect with a major supplier of SMS incoming feature. Please watch the video to see how to search for DID with incoming SMS.

FAX SUPPORT

 

DIDX does not provide support for Faxing, however, many companies Including http://www.superFax.com use DIDX powered DID numbers for faxing.

The DID’s that support g711 codec are mostly usable for faxing, Which Includes Most Numbers from USA, Canada, UK and France.

MULTIPLE CHANNEL SUPPORT

 

DIDx currently offers DIDs with many channels, Each VENDOR has different settings for Channels provided by them, You may want to check the DID Info of the DID number to check how many Channels are offered by this Vendor.
